Has anyone here ever successfully used a dating app to meet someone?

I've been separated (and in divorce process) since August 2022. I work two jobs and essentially do online "dating" as my 3rd job. Therefore, I've been working 3 jobs for the past year w/o much breaks in-between. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever successfully used a dating app to meet someone? Which apps have you used? One of the problems I find w/ many of these apps is that they continue to show me many women that just live too far away from me (to potentially see every day).
I have used Facebook, Facebook Dating, Tinder, Hinge (this one is useless), Grindr (ugh!), and MeetMe. Despite meeting hundreds of women online, and never having met a single one in person, I would have to conclude that online dating is largely a failure. Literally 99%+ of the women I have met online are beggars, liars, and scammers. A large % of the American women use online dating to try to "beg" men to send them money, gift cards, pay the internet, or pay their phone bill while a large % of the Asians and international women will try to scam me into doing short-term cryptocurrency trading (I've learned from many experiences that this is a huge scam so DON'T do this).
I'm hopefully looking for success stories here as I often get discouraged and need a little something to inspire me to keep going. I just turned 52 years old and I feel like I have my last run to try to get into a good relationship w/ a woman who's independent and successful. I want to hear success stories but of course on the way to those success stories there are probably many more horror (or failure) stories so I'd like to hear those too. Maybe we can compare notes?

I met my partner on OkCupid a decade ago.
And I guess this provides background on your "who is to blame for the decline of marriage" thread. I will say... uhm, maybe some church groups would be the best place for someone like you to find a date?
At 52, if you're looking for an independent, successful woman, you really need to consider what it is that you're bringing to the table. If she's independent and successful and currently single, she can afford to be pretty selective, you know?
By comparison my last ex girlfriend was a total hypocritical twa....errr very fine individual. Religious when it suited her to beat you over the head with, including dumping me because I "didn't believe like her". Yet she should have known that and refused to meet me since it said "non religious" right on my profile. Guess she figured she could change me to suit her like every other cun...uhhh...wonderful being I've ever met.
Yet somehow I tried again (and sounded like an idiot doing so) about 3 months ago. I got brushed off by being told she "gets that a lot". It'll be another 10 years before I even think about this sorta crap again. I have no tolerance for bullshit and I'm too old (in my opinion) and stubborn to want to change anything to suit somebody else.
Bars are hit or miss. I know several couples that met at their local brewery or winery. Go to events of things you enjoy. Book clubs, tastings, sporting events, etc. Strike up a conversation with somebody. I met an ex-girlfriend at a college alumni outing. While we didn't work out, but our relationship was fun while it lasted.

Already tried to strike up a conversation with somebody who shared the same interests as me, tried asking her out and that worked out about as well as I expected.

So don't be so certain that Justina isn't Justin just by looking at their throat.
Matter of fact there's a "girl" at a dollar store near me with that exact name (Justina) with a decidedly masculine voice. So....

The important part for me was distance I wanted to be able to meet someone after work not just on weekends.
