This is an older product, and it may not have the proper tip for newer laptops.
Amazon reviews are very mixed, with some people loving/hating it. http://www.amazon.com/iRecharge-U...ewpoints=0 A recent news article still found it useful. http://www.examiner.com/home-tech...wer-review If it works well a few times for a long airplane trip, it might be worth buying for such a cheap price. |

Most of the bad reviews mention customer service and pure idiocy of the users. For ~$5 after tax, this is a very good deal for those with a little common sense. In addition, Walmart's return policy applies.

Base on the compatiblity list, this was a product made for laptop models from 2 or 3 years ago, and the age of the battery is probably just as old. So the battery won't be as strong as a fresh battery and thus giving such bad experience at Walmart users. This will not work with most newer laptops from the last 2 years.

damn I just bought a $56 nine cell battery for my laptop too.
oh well, for $4.88, can't go wrong so I bought one...and got 3.2% cashback from urlhasbeenblocked. Last edited by bolland99; 09-21-2011 at 09:32 AM.. |

So if I plug this into the power port, will it recharge the laptop's battery as as if a power cord is plugged in?
