Gagne cleared for contact OMG

Sutter already mentioned he's sticking with the same lineup unless the team starts losing (hence Clifford being scratched after coming off IR), but the potential of Gagne coming back could be a huge boost... if the team starts losing. Neat!

Dunno, that's just my gut reaction to the idea of Scotty Bowman. I think I developed a distaste for him during his tenure with the Red Wings and I never really got over it. If I looked at it logically I might feel differently. Dontknow

Rumors are that the Caps' Semin is going to test the FA market. Can't say I'm surprised. The FA pool looks kinda shallow this year, so guys may be getting big pay days again.

Semin ain't worth the $5-6 million we'd have to pay to keep him - even if we could afford that much.

I say we go after Zack Parise or somebody similar and try to get them a little cheaper.

Hell don't we have like 6 guys who go FA this year? Knuble's one I know... we can't afford to keep all of those guys even if we wanted to!

The Caps have a lot of reorg work to do this off-season.

In other news, I love watching Tortarella do post-game interviews. He HATES the media! laugh out loud
