Credit to blueiedgod, westendRIOT, and pwilkins from this earlier thread for the regular BodyTech whey:

http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=61217&t=3316202

New code 8677 combines with the current B1G1 50% off and free shipping over $25 promos to get two 5lb tubs of BodyTech Whey Tech Pro 24 for $54 shipped. Link:

Numbers wise, this protein is comparable to (if not better than) ON Gold Standard. The label claims to have half the cholesterol of ON Gold Standard, however the sodium content is almost tripled (170mg to 60mg in ON GS).

Flavor-wise, the reviews are mixed.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Really wanting to jump on this but concerned about taste... Currently sitting on ~3lbs of ON Milk Chocolate so I'm not that desperate but would love to stock up.

I did see the prop 65 warning upon checkout.. which is a California thing they have to notify you if something has certain amounts of lead in it... kinda weird. never seen that on any other protein ever.

I was almost out of my basic whey isolate, only having casein, soy, and a mass complex left. Perfect timing and a great price on what seems to be a quality product...which isn't always common on these protein deals. thanks!

Got the pro version for $6 more and the taste is alright. No clumps even is cold water. Liking it better than GNC whey from last time.

Can't tell if you're kidding but... This is technically NOT a repost, and the first thing I do (and no I did not edit it in later!) is give credit to that post! That post uses an older coupon code that only gave $6 off (rather than the 20% this new code gives) and also is technically for a different product.

And also, I'm posting in that thread too! Your last post is right after mine LOL!

I felt like with this new code that was provided by pwilkins in the old thread and the fact that this is really a better deal with the Pro 24 version, it deserved its own thread for better clarity and attention. I even posted in the old thread that it should go FP again, but really since the Pro 24 is the better deal it needs a new thread. I tried to cover all the bases here, cut me some slack! laugh out loud

Great find Halfbreed! Thanks!

This code gives you 20% off vs the last code which only gave 10%.
Plus I think the other code has expired already. I tired it yesterday with no luck. I thought I missed out, but luckily I came across your post with the new code. Glad I waited.

Read the bold and also the original thread was updated with the new code was is it not? If the original poster didn't update the thread thats one thing but he did an excellent job. All the info regarding both types of protein are in that thread so there is no reason for this one. If reposting is your thing then so be itRoll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I've twice had the pro 24 in my cart at the checkout screen, and that Prop 65 warning comes up for all the flavors. There's a minimum threshold to get this warning - most of the time it's no big deal out here, you see it on older buildings with lead pipes or asbestos ceiling tiles. Prop 65 is hardly ever seen on food anymore - think chemicals like saccharine, or packs or cigarettes - and that led me to hunt around a bit until I found that Consumer Reports story from a few years on protein supplements and the lack of regulation in the supplement industry. Let's just say changed my opinion of Muscle Milk even more.... Run a search for 'Consumer Reports Protein' and check it out if you haven't seen it before.

So after reading that article, I thought I would stick to ON, Solgar and NOW (which is when I went hunting for NOW ISO deal I posted last week) due to the cleanliness of their ingredients. I don't know if this Body Tech Pro is clean or not, but the Prop 65 warning is making me stop, even with the new discount code that makes it an even better deal. I had it back in my shopping cart tonight and just decided no, even at this really good price - I'd rather spend a little more and get my protein from a brand without a Prop 65 warning, like the ON 100% Casein or the NOW Whey ISO I just received. YMMV and this is all personal pref of course, but just wanted to throw it out there for anyone else who has mentioned the same thoughts.

I don't know why I'm even bothering to reply. I didn't come up with this deal, I've just properly placed the best info from that thread in a post that concerns the Pro 24 product rather than the regular whey product, because it is the better deal.

The OP of the old thread has NOT (as of now anyways) updated his post. The wiki for that thread was updated with the new code by the user chi, not the OP. Also, that user chi made an order for the regular whey, not the Pro 24 version.

The subject of that post (which was a FP deal BTW) was for the regular BodyTech Whey, not the Pro 24 variety. All of the talk in that thread about the Pro 24 was originated by other members, not the OP.

All I did was take the newly provided code and make this new thread for the Pro 24 whey, because someone needed to do it! I did not originate any of the information, I've just put it together here. It's already helped out a lot of folks, and that's all I really care about.

This is coming from a guy who got 5 TouchPads, kept 1, gave 1 away as a birthday present, and sold the other 3 to coworkers at cost! (actually took a small loss!) so don't hate! LMAO
