Is there like a new controller or faster memory for these coming out? Seems like there's been a lot of these with rebates lately.
From the read speeds, looks like SATA 3 is obsolete already, or they're going to have to start making these accept multiple SATA connections to be able to read as fast as the SSD memory can provide. Last edited by Gameross; 09-23-2011 at 04:39 AM.. |

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...682023318 All of the reviews in the "A" version from my post are from the past month with mostly positive reviews, and 1 of the 2 1-star ratings is some bonehead reviewing the older version. If I recall, Kingston went thru something similar and most people seem to be happy with the updated drives. |

Bought one of these when they were $170 AR a few months back (new version after the recall). Haven't had any problems and was able to update to the newest 1.3 firmware without incident.
I'm tempted to buy a second for this price! |

there was a time when i thought I had to have ssds...now...when life's too busy to even sit infront of a comp while it boots up...I don't think I need them..
