Honeymoon - Cap Cana
Little bit of background on my issue here. Back in February, I booked a honeymoon (travel dates of 10/24 - 10/31) to the Secrets Cap Cana resort. I received notification from the Travel Agency we worked through that the Secrets resort we booked is going to be under new management effective 9/30, and the resort may no longer be All-Inclusive, or adults only. To compensate us for this, they have arranged for us to have a comparable package at the Iberostar Grand Bavaro. We originally paid about $4,500 (which includes $275 for the insurance policy), and have agreed to refund ~$300 of that for the inconvenience. Any thoughts on what I should do or experiences with this new resort?
As I mentioned, I purchased the insurance so I could cancel the whole trip all together and only be out about $275. At this stage and given I'm less than a month away, are there any sweet last minute deals I could get on an all-inclusive honeymoon package at somewhere in the Carribean?
Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!
