Shoot, this is the first time I have looked over all the receipts from this week. This is something new, and not right. Here's an order with just Zarbees and 2 gift sacks. Dummy me did not look in the box for the coupon, so just used (3) $2 RR's. 2 of the RR's are showing as "ZARBEES NGHT CGH" and one as "MFG CPN. That is obviously not right as there are no $2 Zarbee RR's.
Also, the manually entered coupon for the W pads shows as "MFG CPN", after the RR on the receipt. I had one W pad and one tumbler in this order. The Balance bar $1.60 RR used in this order is also showing as "W MAXI 4-CHAN". Again, no, that was not a W RR being used. Something weird going on here. To my knowledge, the system does not recognize and indicate RR's used on the receipt. Up to this week, they always showed as "MFG CPN". |

It is a good idea to ask them to let you view a few deals on the screen, versus just the pin pads. It's up to us to train most of the employees on how to scan items and coupons, unfortunately. Had one cashier a couple weeks ago that kept hitting that damn payment key. AM was not pleased. |

Couple of oddities today...
Colgate coupons have an expiration date of 10/1 but when scanned they said coupon was expired. Cashier covered right barcode and it went through. Had schick razor cartridges and $4 mq, when cashier scanned it said something about no item sold even though I had correct produce. Once again when right side barcode was covered, coupon scanned no problem. When RR scanned register said no matching product, cashier had to cover the right barcode again to make it go through. Pretty scary of issues to come if/when they remove the short barcode completely. Several times the payment machine locked up or went 'offline' on those transactions I had to pay cash. I was surprised that the 992 bogo actually auto deducted for price, in the old days 992's never attached to any item and always prompted for price. Not sure if she scanned the whole barcode or just the small one, mental note to check that next time. Overall cashiers were not trained very much on these at all. She said someone showed her for about 5 minutes and left. She didn't know how to change prices or manually punch in coupons. Will be a long process to get them used to these. |

Can do the Cover Girl deal with the new registers. Even tho there is no deduction at the end, as the item is showing at the 50% off price on the receipt, the GC coupon is not recognized by the system. It's just showing as "MFG CPN". I did get overage last Saturday.
On these particular receipts, the $1.60 RR's (Balance Bar) are also showing as "C/G PRO". That obviously means nothing as far as calculations as I was already negative with CG. It must just pick an item in the order, and designate the RR for that item. |

I was surpised that the 992 Dove b1g1 auto adjusted when I tried it last week. It has something to do with the 2nd barcode because last night I bought 10 and every other time the BA covered the right side barcode, every time she covered it the register prompted for price, when she didn't cover it the coupon autoadjusted the correct amount.
Had 2 vicks cough drops @ .99 each 2/1.79 and two $1 off any vicks. First coupon went through fine, second coupon said 'no item match for this coupon'. Cashier didn't know how to manually adjust coupon down or how to type in just a mq. Sad thing is that the mgr didn't know either. If anyone knows how to have them adjust coupon value or manually enter please post. |

To PM, it's the opposite of what they used to do. I think they used to scan, then modify the price. Now, they hit the modify button, then scan the item, and change price. This was according to the AM. |
