Do you have the best way to view credit scores?

You can either pay for them at myfico.com for $19.95 each (for your Equifax/Transunion) or jump through some hoops to get them for much cheaper. Bear in mind, Experian no longer offers fico scores for sale so I'd advise against buying whatever they're currently peddling. You can, however, get your Experian if you meet the eligibility requirements to join http://www.psecu.com/ as they offer it to members.

To get your Equifax, you can join either https://www.mtb.com/personal/Pages/Index.aspx or https://www.dcu.org/index.html. If you join the former, you can view your Equifax score for $2.99 a month. The latter is free if you qualify for Checking Plus. Its requirements are met by doing two of the following:

Direct deposit your net pay, Social Security, or pension to your checking account
Receive all your DCU statements electronically
Have an active loan with DCU (such as a DCU Visa Credit Card)

If you don't meet these requirements, essentially it boils down to paying $5 to purchase the Checking Plus tier thus allowing you access to your score.

One method to get your Transunion is to get a Walmart cobranded Discover or the Walmart store card as you'll be granted access to your score by having either. I'm unsure but if you already have a Discover card, they may allocate some of your current card's credit line into the cobranded card. Personally, I've yet to try this method as I don't want new inquiries just yet.

I recently needed to check my score and signed up for myfico free trial to get the score. I made sure to cancel before the trial ran out. I then did what I needed to do to improve my score then signed up for free trial of credit monitoring by equifax to find out the improved score, again make sure to cancel before free trial is over.

creditkarma.com will give you a free score which will at least give you a general idea how you are doing.
