Amazon is above $40 right now. This has free ship so for everyone outside of PA it should at least be a good deal. Amazon charges me tax so it's even better for me. Although I'm waiting for $35 or less to bite.

I will get one when it falls to 20 bucks or less.

That would appear to be obvious. If HP has discontinued the manufacture of TP's, there's not really much reason for them to continue making overpriced accessories.

Thats what I thought also. Thats why I got them last week when Amazon had them for 40.00 . Im scared I wont be able to find any near the holidays.

I'm sure HP would be quite happy continue making $5 plastic stands and selling them for $40.

Wrong on both counts.

Not only do I live in a state that has the top sales tax in the country, but our illustrious state legislators decided ~4 years ago that they were losing too much revenue on non-taxed internet sales. They passed legislation requiring all businesses to charge and forward state sales tax to them under penalty of law. Every once in a while I can find a very small company that doesn't know about the law and fails to tax me, but all the medium and large companies (like Amazon) fell in line pretty quick once they found out what the hefty penalites were. So $38.99 is a great deal for me (as well as others facing the wrath of state sales tax mandates) since TS on Amazon are currently at $45 at the lowest. I'm sure they'll keep creeping up as supply dwindles too.
