Costco coupons - 10/13 - 11/6

don't the discounts just come off automatically at check out? at least 3 costco's i've been to do that

At few local (Portland, OR) Costco Stores, there are always few coupons left on the top of the self-checkout machines. Since the coupon code / bar code is the same on all coupons in the book, I just use the ones left on the top of the self checkout machine. One coupon, no matter what it's for will automatically apply on all items.

I love these coupon books, but does anyone else feel that lately every month is essentially the same coupons (or minor variations in brand) over and over again?

skip that TV its $500 w/ discount. Its a last-gen TV. If you really want a 1080p LCD 60Hz, wait till Black Friday. I got a Westinghouse 40" that I used for all this time and I paid $290 and I sold it just a couple days ago for $300. So i got $10 and I got a free 40" TV to use for 10 months+.

My estimate is that you should be able to get a 60Hz 1080p for under $250 even $200 range. I would recommend a Vizio E3D420VX. Its 1080p, 240Hz, PASSIVE 3D, VIA, Wifi N, QWERTY Remote and so much more!

It is kind of disappointing that they don't really have a lot of variety. Either way, if you are already buying anything that's on the list, then you would save.

Has anyone ever did a comparison between Costco and BJs? I know BJ's accept manufacturer coupons, they accept credit cards (add'l discount by rewards of your own card), and their coupon book has a lot more stuff. They generally have similar coupons but if you find $3 off detergent, and they have $3 off on their own coupon, that's $6. You can buy single items like nutella, they sell individually not two pack. Fruit, milk, eggs all can be bought in smaller quantities. But I never did a serious price comparison.

However, they won't give you one until the sale dates actually start, so if you go in now and ask for the one you see in this thread, they won't give it to you. I've tried on several occasions at different Costco stores and they always tell me "we won't have them available until the coupon book date".

They have my address for nearly a year now, I've given up trying to get them in the mail. For some stupid reason, in spite of telling them over and over again to mail them to me, I don't get them. They said a third-party service (I believe it was Proctor & Gamble) sends them out, and that they (Costco Corp) have nothing to do with it. At least, that's the story I was given, true or not.

So, if you really want a coupon book and are unsuccessful in getting them mailed to you, make sure to go in the first day or two when the coupons start, and you probably won't have any problem getting one. Once they run out, though, that's it. No more.

In the Chicago area, now the stores (again) require you to cut out the coupons and present them. Very annoying. Would be nice if the could track the "only 2 per customer" on your membership.
