Only good for people who absolutely don't talk. I have this plan and GrooveIP paid app for Data calls sucks. Unreliable for long calls to say a business. Moved back up to $60 which is good. For some reason no tax collected on these plans unlike my reg plan.

Also it seems like Tmobile deducts more minutes than I actually use.

I use this plan for 20 days. It was hard. My parents and anyone that contact me or when I call out could not hear me well. Even when I was on HSPA speed. And even when I am standing still too.

VOIP is just not mature.

Tmo minutes start ticking the minute the phone ring when nobody is picking it up! Isnt this illegal? I think everyone is doing this.

It's Ok to talk over 100 base minutes--additional is 10 cents/min. So as long as your overage is less than 300 minutes you would still come out ahead of the $60 unlimited plan.

That's not true at all. I do not get charged for the call that is not connected / picked up on the other end. I am 100% certain of that.

Engadget posted something about their new plans: http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/1...xt-givens/

It looks like the plans are more expensive than current ones (in value plan, you can get two lines, with truely unlimited everything for about $120, or two lines with 1000 minutes and unlimited text and data for $99).
Engadget posted the Classic plans, not the value plans. That's why it's more expensive.

These are the new value plans:

Two lines with unlimited everything are the same price ($120), but there isn't a 1000 minutes option anymore.

True but you need to leave some money on your account for that.

either you have additional money in the account to pay for overages or you choose not to. people have been mentioning that 100 minutes isn't enough, but this plan still comes out ahead of the $60 unlimited all plans if your overages are modest. so if you aren't willing to put money in the account for overages yet 100 minutes isn't enough, then this plan is not for you, so I recommend the $60 unlimited plan then.

Another $10 more is not much. Just get the $70 plan. Now no holes barred. Eat all you want. No limit to anything now.

$70 is $40 more than $30. Again if you are a low minute user and 5gb is enough, the $30 will work. I'm just saying that modest overages in minutes will still make this plan worthwhile. If you need unlimited minutes you wouldn't be looking at this plan in the first place

At $70, you may as well look into the new T-mobile postpaid plan especially many people has corp discount when getting postpaid.
The new plan is $50 (unlimited talk/text/Web + 500MB 4G) + $20 Unlimited 4G = $70 - any corp. discount + tax/fee. Hopefully if you have corp discount of 15%+ off, it will be more than enough cover the tax/fee.

Need to remember postpaid plan include data/voice roaming in AT&T network while T-mobile prepaid only voice roaming.
And postpaid, you can pay $30 for the second line and $20 for unlimited 4G for 2nd line. So 2nd line of unlimited talk/text/4G data is only $50.

So $120 for 2 lines and $150 for 3 lines, $180 for 4 lines of unlimited talk/tax/4G data with the new T-mobile plan available soon.
