HTC arrive by far is the smoothest phone and best battery available on the 40$ sero premium plan but windows phone os is not for everyone.. you will not be able to play draw something with your friends. and miss out on the abundance of apps on android and ios.

LG Marquee
Samsung Transform Ultra
HTC arrive

Any other suggestions?

Just based on the reviews from bestbuy.com and sprint.com it seems like the HTC Arrive is by far the best of these three phones.

I finally caved and upgraded my HTC Touch Pro to the HTC Arrive & love it. There are lots of free apps you can download - the Free Ringtone app (you have to search for tones, like Glee or Adele or Gaga but I found them), Wordament is free and HIGHLY addicting, 4th & Mayor is the Windows OS version of Foursquare.. the only thing I'm not liking is that you can't set up just a vibrate option for a text - it's either a tone or nothing. I liked having the vibrate text option on my old Touch Pro, but oh well. So far I really like this phone, it's very easy to navigate... I had really wanted an Iphone but didn't want to pay the extra $10 to make it $50 a month.. just felt that was ridiculous. I am still waiting on my $50 rebate card, and when I added the phone the girl at the store added on an $8 ERP that I did NOT ask for and took 2 months to be removed.

I'm a big fan of windows phone os and htc arrive is great but feels a little thick. it would awesome if sprint got the nokia lumia 900 and it worked on sero premium 40$ plan

You can also install a custom rom and side load any apps/games like the nokia drive app

It's not any heavier to me than the HTC Touch Pro.. Yes, it's a bulkier phone, but that's what you get with a slide out keyboard that is decent sized. I am an avid texter so that's why I ultimately went with the HTC Arrive, though I must say after using it a while I am able to text on the touch screen just fine..

keep thinking about upgrading but each time i realize my 30 a month tp2 is better than anything else - its dirt cheap, allows tethering, and does what i need it to do - email, text, light web....wont upgrade until they have a 4g keyboard phone other than that really old lame 1 ---

anyone know if new keyboard 4g phones are coming out?

I called Sero customer service, and asked if I could upgrade to sero-p ad an old smart phone like the LG optimus S or the Marquee or HTC arrive for the $40 dollar a month plan, and she said all smart phones are now $50, so you might as well upgrade to the best phone. Is this true? I am on the 30$ plan now.

You get a different answer depending on who you speak to. The LG marquee and the HTC arrive should be only $40 a month for grandfathered customers with the $30/month SERO plans

Any word on the iPhone 5 for SERO Plan users?

I was thinking, aren't there already people w/LTE phones on the SERO plan for $50? Why would the new iphone be any different?
