It still is not a hot deal as the pricing is regular. If flying cars were affordable and a company announced MSRP of $50000 per car and released it tomorrow, it still wouldn't be a Hot Deal, because the price is MSRP.
You don't get it, it's not the price of the phone that's a hot deal it's the plan price. For SERO people, paying $40 versus $50/month is a big difference and will determine whether they upgrade to this phone or not.
SERO is grandfather plan:
SERO $30, 500 Anytime Minutes, unlimited data, text, 7-7. With very limited phone.
SERO-P $40, 500 minutes, unlimited data, text, mobile to any-mobile, free GPS, with most current smart phon
SERO-P + 4G $50,: same as SERO-P but with 4G device.
All smartphone incur the $10 premium data fee, your iphone would be $50 a month on sero plus taxes and fees.
I just spoke with a Sprint Representative and thought I would share the knowledge.
Good for you. So have a lot of other people. You make it sound like you spoke to THE Sprint Representative, the one that gives only correct answers. They aren't. Your info is no more special than the dozens of others making claims in the other thread.
