No spam or debauchery here. My neighbor is in the Norco Intermediate band and bought this over to get me to subscribe. I thought this would be a great opportunity to pass this deal onto the SD community. Feel free to research the address of the school and who their music teacher is (Mr Betts) if there is a concern about your info being spammed. It is a legitimate fundraiser.

This deal is legit. I signed up for a fundraiser like this last year, but through an online method. I am still getting the Sunday paper till this day. I have never gotten any spam, mail or even a single phone call to upsell me. I suspect that they would call me after my subscription runs out, but hey, they'll do that anyway on any subscription that runs out. They did call me just one time to confirm my order, but again there was no upselling at all.

Ok, if you WANT THE FULL STORY, here it is.

Yes, it is Legit. I have gotten this deal for the past 2 years. I thought it was too good to be true but the first year they had it, they just simply told the customers to put 2 cents into the jar for the book fair. BTW, the book fair was this past Sunday in Costa Mesa. http://kidsbookfestival.com/
It is a great event, though two years ago was way better as there were more young authors there and more prizes, and more giveaways. Nevertheless, this year wasn't all that bad if you came early. It was great event for the kids to get active in reading/drawing/anything to do with books.

I believe after you fill out the form, it takes you to your paypal page. So all is safe there.
You simply paypal them 0.02. Unheard of deal!
Gas costs more than that to deliver the Sunday paper.
I still have mine subscription, no phone calls or junk mail.

From the money I saved, I did end up buying a few booksto help the kids every year.
