I bought a PS3 one when it was in the low 20's. It holds about 10 games and I've got a guitar hanging from each side. No real room for the "Move" controllers that I have (or my actual controllers if I recall correctly -- it's in the basement and I'm too lazy to check at the moment). Not worth anything close to the listed MSRP, but for under $20, you can't go wrong if you have a lot of games and accessories cluttering up the place.

I don´t have a PS3 or Wii --- could you use it as a normal media tower or will it look out of place?

I have PS3..the disc rack made for PS3 Blueray disc size(i tried to keep xbox dvds and they wont fit)..i would say no for regular media storage as the size of discs varies..

I bought one for my PS3 Slim and my meager collection of games and blu-rays when it was on sale at TRU for ~$30.

It's convenient for holding my Rock Band instruments and games, but was disappointed when none of my blu-rays fit very well. The blu-ray cases were all just barely too small to fit and ended up having to lean them against my games for them to stay upright. Now I just use the extra plate holder thingy for my slim to stand it upright on my desk.

I'd say it's worth it at this price if you have a small-to-decent amount games to store.
