Anyone Familiar w/Maryland Auto Leases
I'm a MD resident and I'm looking into leasing a vehicle. I am getting conflicting information how on sales tax figures into the lease payment.
Most states it seems just tax whatever the lease payment is (i.e. lease payment is $300, MD sales tax is 6%, so total monthly payment is $318). However, some states tax the entire capitalized cost and add it into the lease. Anyone with experience leasing in MD know for sure how MD treats it? TIA
