www.magdiscounters.com - scam or not?

Has anybody had an experience with this company? I did a search on SD and found no results.

Seems to be a play on the website www.discountmags.com, which seems to have a good rep.

They've got some everyday prices that look TGTBT.

Online ratings are very sparse, mixed, and contested.... Confused

Makes me skeptical.

I took a chance on them based on the prices (basically 1/3 of the price I found on other sites that I could be more trusting of) and some other reviews on another site, but I was worried after a while that I might have been scammed because I kept check my renewal status and didn't see any updates. Finally this morning I got an e-mail from The Atlantic thanking me for my renewal (and I double checked on The Atlantic's site to make sure it was done for the full 3 years). I checked my credit card statement and it appears that from purchase date to renewal, the process took 47 days! I don't know whether that amount a time is a reflection on the company or just the name of the game, but I'm glad that the gamble worked out for me in the end.

THIS SITE IS A SCAM!!!
They scammed me back in February 2012 for two magazines.
No one will answer the phone. It goes through an automated system and then to voice mail.
They will not answer Emails either.
When you order, they say to wait for the order to be processed through the channels and it could take time. The credit card companies only give you 60 days to dispute a transaction...so this is how they scam you.

Hmm thanks for the update. But I'm a little weary now after searching Google for "magdiscounters review." And normally I would rely on my credit card to do a charge back, but I wonder about the 60-day limit that Clockguy2 mentioned...
