Free Batteries deal is valid for the week of 10/23 also. It was in written in the email received today morning from Staples

$0.75 MFG Q in P&G Brand Saver 10/16/2011. Check your 10/16/2011 Sunday paper for the P&G Brand Saver coupon insert, it contains a $0.75 off one Duracell Coppertop, Ultra Power, Ultra Photo Lithium or Specialty batteries.

$1 MFG Q may also be available to some. Look for $1 Duracell manufacturer's coupon in previous 20-packs that you purchased at Staples last time this deal came around. I looked through my stash and found a $1 volunteer firefighter coupon valid until 12/31/2012. This is a manufacturer coupon, it will discount after tax in most states and not affect Staples Rewards total (thanks to mathfaster for the reminder about this coupon)



In my online ad (Greater Boston area), there is also $4 in easy rebate on (apparently any) Avery labels. Limit 1 per SKU per household. Probably regional since the Op didn't mention it. Cheapest Avery label that qualifies is apparently $12.99+. So no good.

You can also use the $5 off $25 coupon from this week's ad for the batteries (in-store). While it doesn't affect the total savings, you don't have to wait on getting that $5 back, like the rest of the rewards.

Time til Rewards appear in acct: "Roughly 3rd week of November you will be able to go into your rewards account and redeem your rewards. Online via code or in-store via printed rewards. You can only use the rewards to buy products at Staples. You will not pay sales tax on the amount of the rewards redeemed."
