Batman Arkham City Thread...

OK so this is strange...is the a dual layer disk for the PS3? Cause my slim hasn't been able to play any bluray movies and many of the new games (ie. Resistance 3, KZ3) but it read Batman Arkham City no problem. It will read dvds and older games(LBP) with no issues. Just wondering if an update maybe fixed it or if the Arkham City is single layer and can read it.

Just FYI for those picking this game up, its a good idea to install the Catwoman content from the very beginning as opposed to beating the game and then deciding to install it. The Catwoman content actually integrates itself into the game if you install it from the get-go.

Can anyone answer this? There are some doors that look like that need tobe hacked or something to enter. There's an electronic keypad with a question mark (not riddler question marks) displayed but the hacking device (as utilized in the first Batman) appears to be used differently now. Anyone know how to access these doors? Not really a Spoiler but just in case: I'm trying to get into the museum for one of the titan cannisters.

everyone should get the Catwoman DLC code Robin was part of the Best Buy pre-order. As far as the rest be patient you get new gadgets like some electric gun that charges up doors or cranes revealing impossible to access areas. I noticed that Pink Riddler question marks can only be accessed by Catwoman, Its very much like Arkham Asylum things that look impossible to grab are incredibly easy once your progress enough.

I have some Sinestro and Batman Beyond skins i'd trade for other skins . I also have a robin preorder $5 i put down on a tradein. If someone bought the game not on preorder i could use their receipt validation # and get them a free robin.,

robin dlc is in the case inside the game. you dont even need to preorder it.

If you buy it from where? I got mine at Toys R Us. It came with the Catwoman DLC and a 70s Batman skin.

Been playing for about 4 hours and I give this game an official rating of good s##t. There's a lot to do and I'll be working on this one for many months to come.

This is rare for me but I actually would love either the Sinestro or the Batman Beyond skin. Problem is....I got nothing to trade you. I got my game at K-mart (not a preorder). I did meet Robin last night in the game, which was pretty damn cool. How does the receipt validation # thing work? But more importantly, what's the chances you'll hook me up with a free skin? I figure it's unlikely but I had to ask. It's funny, I've never cared about skins before this game actually.

yeah man, I haven't fawned over a game like I have this one, in a loooong time. I'm loving this game. Logged another 5 hours or so last night (my total time logged is about 10-11 hours). I'm at around 33% story completion and only 17% total.

Does anyone else think Batman Arkham City has a "Zelda" type feel to it? An adventure game with great story and light RPG elements leveling up finding better Equipment. Using that equipment to solve puzzles even the using explosives to break walls. All that is missing is the Batcycle (like Epona) to drive around the street of Arkham City. Anyone?

Man I want that 70's batman skin badly. I just couldn't pass up that $30 coupon from KMart.

Rocksteady has already stated that all the preorder skins and bonuses will be released as DLC in the future.
