Deal Details

So I was at Best Buy yesterday to get something and at the registers I saw a Best Buy Gift Card that comes bundled with a strand of 20 LED color changing Christmas lights. The lights are free with the gift card purchase.

Not a bad deal and a neat little decorative item for the holidays! The package is rather large and the gift card is called "Techno Twinkle"

EDIT: Added picture of lights (albeit, not the best picture)
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I'll have to look next time I'm there. Picked up the usb man last year free with gift card.

Hint, you can buy the GC and load just a penny ($0.01). Well, it works last year with the Bestbuy USB port splitter.

It was a "name your own price" giftcard. I'll add a pic of the lights in just a sec

In California, to become a Best Buy COTM (Customer Of The Month), simply gather up all the gift card LED bundles in the store and put $5 on each one of them, saying they are going to be stocking stuffers. Then take them to your vehicle, remove the actual gift cards from the bundles and go back to the Customer Service desk with the gift cards. Now smile and say you've changed your mind and want to cash out these gift cards. Per CA state law, retailers must exchange gift cards with balances below $10 for cash upon demand.

To upgrade and become COTY (Customer Of The Year), put a $0.01 balance on the cards instead, and offer no deceptive small talk.

I want to be COTY but don't live in California.
