Is this a good deal? I'm looking for a Sandisk 8GB or 16GB with class 6 or faster, so don't quite need this one. Both of my 16GB Kingston cards (class 6) became unreadable on my Panasonic HDC-SD600K. I lost my whole videos of trip to Japan, and I heard Sandisk is the real deal.

I've owned an Extreme II, and it was plenty fast. I've also heard conflicting reports on these HD Video C10's, but the 2 that I got work great!!

With a generic USB 2.0 reader, I get 20mb/s seq. read/write on these cards. If you have the luxury of having USB 3.0, you can go even faster; my USB 3.0 reader does seq. 45mb/s read and 36mb/s write!!

I want to try out an Extreme III/IV on USB 3.0 =)

Just about normal price for this size now. Amazon also has a class 10 32gb for $43 with free ship. Prices are falling all around on this stuff.

in for 1... i was using a ridata 32gb in my go pro camera and my panasonic lumix and the video recording would randomly stop and then restart... hopefully this card will fix that problem.

Ouch. Kingston is just as good a brand however. Wonder what happened.

Don't format it!! You can try using software recovery on your computer when you plug in the card through a USB reader. I've had good success this way. You may not get everything back, depends on how corrupt and/or if you wrote new things to the card, but its definitely worth a shot. I've done this for friends and family, some have had tears of joy just from recovering even part of the data.

I personally use Image Rescue 3, got it when it was free from the manufacturer, but I'm sure others will be good too or if really nec. I may be able to send you a copy.
