LAST DAY! STAPLES B&M ONLY! 35 Cents = 2 packs 16-pcs of Duracell (AA or AAA) + 1 Ream HP Paper (After Coupon + EZ Rebate + Rewards)
The Kev Master did this yesterday and figured other SDers might like to do the same. He also noted while writing this that the online price for the paper $8.49 instead of $5.99 and the coupon is a B&M ONLY coupon so deal is a B&M ONLY deal.
Commentary said that his Staples had OLDER packs of 20 batteries with a special Duracell cutter. These also have the correct SKU and priced at $9.99/pack. A little older stock but expiration is 2017. So one can get an extra 4 batteries per pack plus the cutter. So keep an eye out for those.
This is after coupon, ez rebate and staples rewards.
He bought the following:
2 x Duracell (AAA or AA) 16-piece pack = $19.98
1 x HP 8.5x11 Paper (SKU:814186) [staples.com] = $5.99
Total: $25.97
Discounts:
Staples 5 off 25 Coupon [staples.com]: ($5.00)
At register, $20.97 + tax then,
Paper EZ Rebate: ($3.99)
Battery Rewards: ($16.15) coupon amount of $3.85 will be taken off the $20 total.
Paper Rewards: ($0.48) thanks to MathFaster
Total Discounts: ($25.62)
32 pieces of Duracell Battery + 1 ream HP Paper = $0.35 + tax.
POTENTIAL MONEY MAKER:
Akageorge said that Staples accepts manufacturer coupons, such as those in the 10/16 P&G insert for 75 cents/pack Duracell and the various peelies and in-pack coupons that have been floating around.
Screenname pointed out that in some markets the coupon is for $1 off instead of 75 cents.
