You mean for an audio/video call?
My Skype works for chat, but without the webcam and mike drivers, naturally I can't make an audio video call, if that's what you meant.

On CM7 the mic worked fine. But I just want to receive video. I ended up having touse someone's ipad. I'm doing a show right now and since the stage managers are working behind the scenes I'm streaming a video for them to the ipad.

Gotcha.
Until there are drivers for the cam and mike, you could boot up into webOS for the times you really need to make those Skype calls.

I went on WebOS. I couldn't find the skype app anywhere. Is it on preware or something?

It's an generic app like the chat app.
Go to the first launch page and look for the icon that looks like a telephone. (I think it is green)
Once open, go to the top left for a drop down menu that will allow you to associate your Skype account with the app. (Preferences or settings, if I remember correctly)
It only takes 1 minute and it's much like setting up an email app.

PS: The icon is in the bottom taskbar by default, when you first get your webOS TP.
Yours may still be there if you didn't remove it.

Aww, wish i knew that. I was searching all over the internet and no one was talking about the chat app.

I just tried installing TWRP through the GooManager app following ReverandK's video tutorial.

After downloading the file my TP restarted as it was supposed to. But after restart, it now shows the "green android" with a triangle and an exclamation mark over it's head as oppose to in the video where above the "green android" there is a "box unloading files" and there is a bar underneath which turns green as the files "unload".

My TP is frozen in this state any ideas?

EDIT: NM, was able to reboot my TP by holding the power+menu buttons

I have not updated CM9 with any of the nightlies - just the original CM9 release.

How have the newer releases been? Am I okay installing one from the last few days?

I haven't seen any issues with what I have. It works just fine. Any point/benefit in going higher yet? (For the games that just didn't look right, I've got them on my iPad...)
