I wondered about the same thing, before installing Android myself, and I remember thinking that there seemed to be a lot of people complaining. I guess it's just an illusion one gets when seeing it from the outside. One thing for sure is that if you do have a wifi problem, you get your money back.....

There are ways around this but they are more complicated and usually just not needed. What are you trying to do? I bet there is a better method. |

My bad. And here I thought my pretty pictures would do the job.

Yea, sorry . I want to view on my computer...well my Mac which makes it even more confusing. I have Android File Transfer but just can find where the market place apps are. I'm thinking they are hidden or on the Palm side of things. I was trying to edit a file in the apk ( yes a cheat code for unlimited cash..lmao )
I also am using easy file explorer on the tablet, but can't view the jsp file, says its too large. I gave up, its not a big deal was just curious .

WebOS doctor wiped out my Touchpad!
I didn't see anywhere mentioned that installing WebOS doctor would completely wipe out everything on my TP ![]() Now it looks like I'm back at square one like I just bought it. All I was trying to do was install CM9, now I've got a mess on my hands |

If you sign back into your HP account, your apps will download automatically, but you'll have to do all the preware stuff again. |

I didn't know I wasn't supposed to run it. Looking back, I'm not even sure it was needed at all. Anyway I have installed ICS and think I'll just go with that from now on. Do I still need to do all the Preware stuff to get this device overclocked? Last edited by RVD26; 05-05-2012 at 01:14 PM.. |

Sorry that you landed up running it and wiping out your data. I'll be sure to mention to not run it to others, in future, as it certainly can be interpreted as meaning one should run the doctor at some point or another. Anyhow, getting back to the matter at hand, you will need to do the whole preware thing in webOS to get your overclocking going again. In Android, all you need is to download an app to overclock it. I use the Antutu CPU Master Free and it works like a charm, OC'ed to almost 1.8.GHz. There's a ton of kool apps, adjustments, settings, etc to be done to get the system running to your liking, and all of it is free, my favorite word..... You can change lots of settings to suit your needs. For instance, you can change the main interface from default, I use "Cube Out". By default, you have 5 screens, but you can go up to 7 and choose which one will be your homepage. There are also adjustments and settings that would allow you to connect to your Windows computer using the USB cable, another that shuts apps down automatically when you leave them, another that will show your battery percentage in the bottom taskbar, you can change the default time for the display to shutdown, etc. Lastly (for now), downloading Apps 2 SD will allow you to install up to 50 apps on another partition, to avoid using up all the allotted space. |

You're saying I do NOT need to install Preware to overclock? I've been playing around on this device with ICS for about half an hour now and it seems 100x better than WebOS, so I don't think I'll be using WebOS ever again. |

Just download the Antutu CPU Master free to overclock it. |
