Regarding jellybean, would it be possible to upgrade to that using goomanager which has made me very lazy as it makes updates way way easier than I ever expected?

It used to cost me that much, back in the '80's, so I imagine that it's that much easier nowadays, to blow 2 bills on dinner with a friend, unless those prices have come down like electronics, but somehow, I don't think so.
If the bottle of wine cost $100, you can be sure that any decent dinner on the menu, plus tax and tip is going to get you up to 200+ bones.
Skip one night out, and you've got yourself a free N7 instead.

I live in the Midwest in a town with pretty reasonable prices (Very low unemployment), so you can get yourself a large steak with sides for say $30 a plate, so that leaves quite a bit for extras etc. I agree though that skipping a good night out (Or a home game on football Saturday) and you have yourself an 8gb N7.

Skipping a meal for me wouldn't even get a raspberry pi

$30 X 2 = $60 + $100 for wine = $160 + tax + tip = 200 smackaroos.

I agree that it's enough, but not off topic.
It exemplifies just how cheap an N7 is and that it can be a casual type purchase, more than a candy bar, but less than a new laptop.
The TP became a casual purchase in August of last year. Any decent device that sells for $200 or less, is more like buying a peripheral, like a $150 external hard drive, Graphics card, a new SSD, etc.
It's more than pocket change, but simply isn't a major purchase, IMO.

I have a couple of touchpads I want to sell and was wondering what I have to do exactly to make sure all of my personal info is completely gone when I sell them? This includes my registration info to HP.

Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds like it may be the way to go. I'll look into Webos Doctor. As far as you know, this is a complete wipe, so there is no way for the new owner to see all of my personal accounts/credit card data and so on?

Alright so I've had my Nexus 7 since Friday and have been using it quite extensively since then. Anyone have any questions on comparing it to the TouchPad?

NFC is really cool. I paid for stuff at CVS with Google Wallet and while it was really awkward (cashier asked me why I was paying with my Nook ), it was fun. I also downloaded NFC Reader and have been scanning random cards with PayPass to see what it spits back out at me. It even recognized a FeliCa card I had from Japan. Very cool.

Anyway, I can make direct comparisons and benchmarks etc. since I still have my TouchPad. Ask away.

Can't say I've ever truly verified, but it's supposed to set things back to factory standards.

It's hard to know *for sure* because you can't get past the registration/login page and that downloads your settings. How do you know they weren't there all along though? :-) Maybe I'm paranoid

If you were to theoretically delete all files and partitions from WebOS, could you just web doctor them back?
