i have Charter interent service (only) for almost 1 year, i pay $29.99/12mpbs, i called Charter today regarding this pomotion i saw on their web, The Rep decrease my monthly bill from $29.99 to $19.99. . or you can increase the speed from 12mpbs to 18mpbs.

I did it this morning and was able to upgrade from the 12 mbs to the 18 mbs for 29.99. In the chat the lady said that it would be a one time charge of 1.99 to upgrade. I just read in the wiki and in a later post that it is a 19.99 charge. Was that a typo that she put 1.99? I wonder if I can make them bring back up the chat log and try to only get charged the 1.99 that she told me initially.
