apple ipod touch questions
i'm thinking of getting an ipod touch mainly for online music streaming like pandora.1.should i go for the 4th generation or should i be fine with lets say 2nd or 3rd generation? 2.should refurb be ok? 3.how much should i pay for a refurb? |

1. Depends on what you'll use it for. Get at least a 3rd gen--it's the oldest model that supports iOS 5. The 4th gen is a significant improvement, however the new hardware (camera(s), retina display, faster processor) may not be worth it to you.
2. What do you mean by 'ok'? Will it work? Yes, of course. 3. The amount you pay will depend on which generation it is, its storage capacity, and its condition. There are too many variables to tell you how much you should expect to pay. |

3rd generation refurb,it says jailbroken in the title.from ebay seller for $125 shipped.should that be good?

Capacity? The fact that it's jailbroken shouldn't be a selling point--it's very easy to do.

No, not a good deal. You should be able to find a 32GB for around that price on your local Craigslist.

If you have any interest in using the iPod for web browsing, I would GREATLY suggest getting the 4th gen.

most likely it's going to be 3rd generation.will be using it for music to workout or when i go on a bicyle ride.

I would get the 4g. I sold my 2g and it was worth the upgrade. Slimmer, faster, (camera don't use to low of power). The ipod touch was worth every penny you can surf the web and stuff.

I'd say definitely 4th generation and refurbs off the Apple website are perfect, but I wouldn't buy from elsewhere a refurb.

well i bought a htc hero for $50 used off of ebay.i'll just use the wifi to connect to to pandora.thanks all
