If you are primarily gaming, I think the 16:9 1920x1080p aspect ratio of the 23 inch would be better so you do not have bars on the bottom and top in newer games.

This was moderate for an IPS panel and not what we had hoped for considering what we had seen on other recent IPS screens, including the 24" U2412M.

I want to switch out to an IPS monitor so badly, but none has the audio that your typical TV has.

I have 3 computers going into my 23" "monitor", a Samsung TV. All 3 sources have audio, two via HDMI and one via VGA and analog audio input, using the headphone jack on the TV I have a nice pair of speakers attached. Great setup for my use, but I want so much an IPS screen. Last one I had was a Dell 2405.

Each time a Dell IPS monitor deal is posted I want one so badly but I can't do without the audio switching.. Anyone knows if there's a 23-24" TV with an IPS screen?
