anyone have experience with this drive care to comment?

I'm looking for the *most reliable* 120GB or great SSD available. Would people argue that a Crucial M4 is the most reliable drive? I'm willing to sacrifice blazing fast, bleeding eyeballs speed for reliability. It's still going to be much faster than a traditional HD.

Lettuce be cereal, no matter what you buy there will always be a chance that you'll recieve a defective product.

People swear that Asus has the greatest quality motherboards ever. I've had 2 Asus products and both of them were terrible.

People have had TERRIBLE experience with ATi and their drivers, while all the ATi/AMD products I've ever owned have served me very well and the only two nVidia card I've owned (GeForce FX 5500 and the 8600M I believe) became defective very quickly.

It *seems* as though the Crucial M4 has the least amount of risk in recieving a unit that will have issues.

I bought a Corsair Force GT 120GB (Firmware 1.3). So far it has been reliable, no BSODs or random restarts as of yet (knock on wood) and the last speed test with AS SSD showed a 499mb/s read speed, I'm not even going to bother updating the firmware to 1.3.3 (why fix what isn't broken?).

Your points are well taken. I have not done an exhaustive review of SSD's, so asking for anecdotal evidence of performance and reliability can result in a mixed bag of responses with little statistical significance....but sometimes people have key bits of info or links to site's that I haven't found that help me make a more informed decision...
