I am not sure if others who are Amazon Prime customers are aware of this, but I just noticed it today that you can invite up to 4 household members to share your membership for free. Check your Amazon Prime account for more info.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions
Quote :
... If you sign up for a free trial or paid Prime membership (not including Amazon Student memberships), you may invite up to four eligible household members (living at the same address) to enjoy the shipping benefits of your free trial or paid Prime membership at no extra cost (invitees). (Please note that any member under age 18 may use the Amazon.com Web site only with involvement of a parent or guardian.) If you purchase a Prime membership for use by a business or organization, you may invite up to four eligible coworkers to shop for the related account consistent with these Terms and Conditions.

The purchaser can change and/or remove invitees at any time. An invitee's shipping benefits will automatically terminate if the purchaser of the membership ceases to be a member or removes the invitee. Free promotional programs related to Prime may not include invitee benefits. ...

So you mean that you can "sell" the four additional memberships linked to your account for $16 each, since those household members can actually reside in different addresses? And there is no cross referencing of purchases, addresses, credit card info, etc..., so each person has privacy?

"not including Amazon Student memberships"

Could we possibly have been more eager to point out a simple oversight?

Your objecting to the OP answering a question in his own thread?

Really? How long should the OP have waited to make sure he's not being too eager?

Sorry, maybe I'm commenting too quickly...

I wasn't objecting. I forgot to add a "haha" or a laugh out loud

My original post only had the quote of the terms, then I edited to add my comment.

Wow they changed it fast... my son renewed when this past semester started, with the $39 for a year... and it automatically shared with me since it had also been shared with me when he had it a year free (which also no longer is allowed for free accounts. I had posted that you COULD share the $39 account but then decided to go look and... nope... they changed it since September!! I wonder what will happen when he goes to renew it again next school year... We will probably just end up sharing his entire account since that was what we were planning anyway until we realized at the time, the discounted Prime would share.
