Lumens = Brightness = horsepower
"Soft White" = Color Temperature (how yellow or blue the light is) = paint job

They're independent of each other.

deal is dead already, but..

might have been a good deal if you could use all the bulbs.
otherwise, it's never great to stock up on anything you don't intend to use.
prices of "new technology" is always going down.
i still have a couple of 6 or 8 packs of 13wt CFLs sitting around from Lowes deal.
Bought 4 packs, dropped 1 pack to my parents, bros, and i got 2 sitting here. they were $1/pack of 6 or 8
