I think I might want two...the newegg limit of 5 on most is deceptive unless one reads the rebate conditions carefully:

"Limited one item per offer per person, household, family or address"

Not sure if that means only one rebate will be processed, regardless of whether it is a different model if the person, household, family or address appears to be the same in any way. Looks like I will only purchase one, unless I can get a friend to buy one for me.

If you plan on using more than 1 fan then the power supply that I linked won't be powerful enough. It's only 500ma, and 1 200mm fan needs 420ma.

As for the rebate, they're already pretty bad with rebates, I wouldn't risk more than 1 item per promotion.

Trust me I've used the crap, I've used toothpaste in a pinch, once I was benching and used wet toilet paper.

I jumped on the xigmatek case fan deal about 6 months ago.

Don't count on ever receiving your rebates.

As far as thermal grease goes, buy yourself a syringe of Arctic Silver (AS-5, Alumina, or Ceramique) -- aka "The Good Stuff" -- and you'll probably never need to buy more unless you lose it. Thermal grease is cheap enough and important enough to buy name brand. A little ArctiClean is nice to have around, too, though I just stick to high-percentage rubbing alcohol, q-tips, and coffee filters to clean off the old grease.

Edit: Despite what some others say, Arctic Silver doesn't have to cost $20 for a syringe. You can find it for $6-7, and get it shipped free with another order. I paid $7 for my syringe at NewEgg while I was buying some upgrade parts. I still have most of the syringe, plus a syringe of some decent Asus-branded silver paste that came as a free bonus with another order.
