 I want to sell my YLOD PS3....how much should I expect to sell it for? Anyways, I don't need two PS3's. So, I'll just sell the YLOD one on CL. How much should I sell it for? |

depends, you gonna disclose it had a YLOD and its as is?
normal PS3 fatty systems go for $200 and under. Gamestop's selling the same system for $200, so CL-wise i'll say $150? if you're gonna disclose its YLOD, you'll prob only get $125. If your selling it on ebay you can get away without disclosing the ylod, but if your going to sell it on Cl, Do you really want to take the chance of having a crazy person harrass you when the system dies?
on Cl let them know it had ylod and was fixed and is sold as is, there's alot of crazy people out there. |

$50 it is guaranteed to die again even when reflowed properly on an expensive machine. It could be played for 2 weeks or 3 months but you wont get much more life out of a reflowed machine.
I wouldnt recommend fixing a ylod yourself so that means farming it out and to get it done 'properly' you are looking at about about $100. Did the reader stop working? Mine just did that too and it was one from launch. I use it now for a media server, but you can fix the reader?

It works - bluray drive and all. So, are you suggesting I sell it for $50-60? It's not backward compatible.
