this is just the beginning folks...Obama and the libs like to vilify the 'millionaires and billionaires', but they can take every penny they have and it wont solve the problem...the golden goose with the money is the rest of the working public, and the trillions saved up in retirement funds...Obama's $200,000 'trigger' for being classified as 'rich' is meaningless and is going to come down a lot in the future unless some serious cuts are made.....
That's so clear that I wonder why so many of the liberals here ignore it. Not sure if it's just their inability to understand it, or that many/most of them are so non-productive, that increases in small taxes are worth the continuing of their government handouts.
It's similar to calling me a terrorist because I've disagreed with you.
Why do people feel the need to bring old stuff into new threads just because they are still all butt hurt over what transpired? Haven't we seen this before? Hopefully this thread doesn't descend into a reshash of that old thread.
Recently received a couple orders (SD deals) from Amazon (Duracell batteries) from Whitestown, Indiana. Never received anything from Florida. Distributors = 3rd party sellers? If that is the case, then everything/almost everything would be taxed.
And yeah... I'll buy far less from them due to their acquiescence.
You mean you'll buy "far less from them" if they quit assisting you in your illegal tax evasion?
I still pay less regardless when I purchase items from Amazon. If my state charged sales tax on Amazon items, it would make absolutely no difference to me.. It just means that the first place I check online won't be amazon (but I'd probably still do better on Amazon, unless of course sales drop and they increase the cost of items).
They've merely opened up the competition to buying from another state online (where you still won't pay sales tax).
I already pay sales tax on stuff I order online when I do my state income taxes so I guess I have nothing to be upset about.

Yes, I actually do and have the tax returns to prove it. Also paid the fee for my citizenship application years ago despite the fact that I qualified for a fee waiver. Could have saved myself several hundred dollars but I thought paying was the right thing to do.
