Rock Solid Router under $150

I have a WNDR3300 that only does an adequate job in my home. it's 2 stories, and for the most part performance is ok.

But I work from home, and I cannot have dropped signals. I need something that is going to be ROCK SOLID at any point throughout my house, even 10 feet outside the back door.

I've never spent more than $20 on a router (after rebates and such) so I think maybe I should spring for something better.

However, I don't know what would be better. I have some N and some G devices so dual band would probably be best. I don't need gigabit as I only have one connected device and don't transfer much over the network.

I just need rock solid performance and long range.

Any suggestions?
