Search Function Doesn't Seem to Be Working
I can't get the search function to return any results today. At first, I thought perhaps the deal I had noticed hadn't been posted yet, but then I tried some pretty basic terms (rule, rebate, Dell) searching ALL the forums and no hits on each one.I just upgraded to IE 7, but I tried the same search with Mozilla Firefox and got the same results. No hits no matter what I typed in. Anyone else having this problem. |

I'm having the same situation.
This belongs in Site Issues and Suggestions, btw, since it pertains specifically to Slickdeals.net. |

Happens to me, too. Quite a bit, actually.

Especially during the busy times, it happens. We are trying to remedy it. But for now the solution is to search one more time.

May I make a suggestion?
(actually, many of you probably already know this, but I'll post this information in case there are some who do not) During times when the site is busy and the search function is not working as it should, one option would be to use google's search engine to search the Slickdeals site. Go to google.com [google.com] and enter site:slickdeals.net and your search terms (it may help to enter the name of the section in which the thread resides) For example:
