DS's school is having a food drive this week. On one of the days we're supposed to donate baking items such as cake mixes, pie filling, brownies, etc. In a way that bother me, but I guess the poor like desserts too.

Right?! It's insane the poor think they are entitled to enjoy desserts!

I don't care if maybe some family is using that Duncan Hines cake mix just so their kid can have a cake for their birthday, or that perhaps they are still people regardless of economic status.

They should really stop trying to mingle with those of us who can buy our own desserts and just be thankful with whatever shit we find in our cupboards to give them, only because we don't use it anyway!

1) Fruit and veggies are expensive but starchy and high fat foods (overly processed foods) are cheap
2) Government cheese

Fat people are fat because their calorific intake exceeds their calorific use. Or to put it another way they eat too much and don't move enough.

Being poor is no excuse for being fat, regardless of your diet. It costs nothing to do jumping jacks (etc) for 30 mins a day. Lots of poor people are not fat and lots of rich people are.
