Is it just free and will start automatically on the 23rd or you have to call and request it. The wording of my Directv ad that was emailed to me said to call 1800 531 5000 or login to your online account. I logged in and there was no where to 'activate'. I called and they gave me a mouthful that I am ineligible for this promotion (never late, offered billions of offers). when I asked Why I was ineligible the girl said she didn't know, I asked for a supervisor, she said this "wasn't really worthy of a supervisor" I'm just not eligible but I could get Showtime for $xyz. Lost all patience with her, still on hold for the supervisor afte 11minutes - guess I won't be likely seeing that supervisor anytime soon.
My hunch is that the channels will just open up on the 23rd.....still shouldn't be spoken to like that.

holy moly, that was a lot of grief for nothing. They roll out the channels automatically, no need to do anything. There should be a mail notice in your top menu bar that alerts you to this offer. Just press info button to check mail.
I thought it was live already but # correction, IFC isn't in the package but they should be firing up the promo this AM sometime.

Don't know if it will work with brighthouse.

Did find a glitch though lol.

Went to a channel through the guide and kept hitting the ok/sel button to do the start over and it started over the movie on the channel.

Only works on start over movie channels as far as I can see.

God forbid Cablevision offered this....

If Comcrap in the Chicago area were to have this Promo, that would be fantastic! But, over the years I have never gotten ANYTHING FREE from Comcrap. They just want to sell you extra-cost options.
