Yeah, but a real tablet with a real stylus are much nicer for handwriting/drawing and such (with the extra buttons on the stylus and pressure sensitivity).

Not trying to crap on the deal, I just saw a Windows Tablet for such a good deal and assumed it was more like the traditional windows tablets (which, in my opinion, are for a much different purpose than the OS-lite tablets (iOS/Android/WebOS)).

My current netbook with N570 and 1GB RAM is like a snail as compared to my acer iconia A500. I expect that dell tablet will not be as responsive.

But the advantage is that, you can install many windows programs such as private VPN, though not the apps. Some apps can be installed with Google Chrome browser.

If I can do VGA out, I'd buy it. Looks like the only option would be buy a USB-VGA adapter

Not a slam, but you've obviously never used one. (I expect?) With a clean install, it is a very impressive little unit. It comes with 2GB and Windows 7 HPre. And the fact that it basically doubles as a laptop makes it great. For the price, with the JBL, this is definitely a slickdeal. It seems that the only times the prices come down on these are at the Dell Outlet. It does have more weight on it than a netbook, however the build quality is a lot higher than most. A stylus is probably not a part of their plan since a full keyboard is a part of the unit.

Its the WORST with WIndows 7 and i installed WIndows 8.
In windows 8 its equal IPAD and i loved it.
Don't buy if u want to use with WIndows 7
Windows 8 is still in BETA and i got the DUO for $267.00 two weeks back
