this is the old style where gunk collects under the head. You have to clean it regularly (but you can minimize it by removing the head every time you use it).
BUT at this price I think it is worth the extra effort (new style brushes are usually $60+). Replacement heads for this version costs slightly more than the newer heads. |

Repped - you can still get heads for these brushes. Our 5+ year old model is running out of battery, so this is a great replacement.

The e5300 and this one (hx5351) are the same one!

I own five of the Sonicare e-series brushes and I strongly recommend springing for The Sonic Seal if you're going to get one. It's $10 for 3 of them, but there's usually a coupon code floating around to knock it down a few bucks. |

One more thing, Philips will reject those rebates unless you paid full retail price without coupons or any discounts. I bought two myself from Walgreens couple days ago, but didn't bother with the rebates because I know they are not going to honor it. |
