No lol, my refurb one came thoroughly cleaned i guess, the brand new one came with this glossy finish on the surface while the refurb was completely matte from a thorogh cleansing, which looked alot better and newer.

The new 360 controllers have glossy plastic pieces where the matte parts used to be.

Only the gray piece on the bottom of the old controllers is gloss black and the XBOX button is now chrome. The thumbsticks are black instead of gray Everything else is basically the same. I have about ten controllers and I am comparing same vs. same. When i say compared to new, I am referring to the controller included with my new XBOX slim that i have never once used. I got a refurb'd one from Best Buy and compared it, and it looks much newer, I don't know why this is, maybe a picture will help, but I do know what i'm talking about...and the one i received is NOT the older one with the gray on the bottom.

The REFURB XBOX controller i got is on the left, the new one is on the right. Both have been used < 15 min. ea.

Anyone know if these will be cheaper from gamestop on black friday. They have 50% used wii accessories and a b2g1 free on all used stuff but i don't know if they will stack.

stay away from game stop preowned. bunch of pre-pubescent kids trading in sticky controllers.

its very rare to find something that's in pristine condition. what you are buying here is guaranteed to not only be in pristine condition but to be the new Remote Plus, rather than just the old Wiimote which is most likely what you'll be finding at gamestops.

I once got 3 defective preowned xbox controllers in a row from gamestop...

the b2g1 should be used on games if anything...

lol, i know what you mean and it's something I was worried about too as I once bought a 360 controller where it was just sticky from something and I just couldn't wash it out. Pretty nasty..

Probably worth the few extra dollars here and not have to deal with gamestop. Also I noticed the nunchuk was 9.99 refurbed.

Does anyone know if it comes with a silicon sleeve?
