Update: I'm still working out the details to finally make this official (for me at least). The reply from their support team recommended I cancel my order and re-order the new Black Friday priced version ($199.99), since it is now under the Iron Egg Guarantee.
Update 2: I was just officially approved for the 149.99. It took more effort than I anticipated, so best of luck to you all. All done through email, no phone calls. Here was the final response outcome:
Thank you for contacting Newegg.
I will keep an eye on your order, once it is invoiced, I will issue $50 credit and notify you by email. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Me: Hi there. I was interested in doing a price match for the intel i5 2500k processor.
Marshall: I would be glad to assist you with that. Unfortunately, Newegg presently does not price match our competitors. We already negotiate the lowest possible prices we can and offer them directly to all of our customers.
Me: That's not what this says...
Marshall: Thank you for the information. May I have your concerns ?
Me: I would like to do a price match for the i5 2500k processor at 149.99, which is what
Microcenter offers it for. Link: http://viewer.zmags.co
Marshall: Thank you for holding. After checking, if you place the order for the processor now , we can offer you the price match.
Me: And once I do that you will approve correct?
Marshall: Newegg will approve the price match and offer you the price as you saw at http://viewer.zmags.co
Me: Sounds good. I just wanted to be sure. Should I mention your name for reference when I ask for the price match?
