Anyone know if this is any good?

Since I'm a new member my post is not yet posted. about 30-40 mins ago it was live. Saw it 3 hours ago but when I was about to check out its not in my cart anymore. After 2 hrs of refreshing (LOL) I finally got it. $640 (w/ tax and shipping) for me cause I live in a state where they charge tax. but only $10 for ground shipping. But its not bad at all.

I also got my confirmation email. Not sure why its a preorder or when will it be shipped though.

Yes it is a good deal. If you dont mind the resolution which is I think is common to all the laptop deals out there.

yeah i was disappointed it didn't have a higher resolution and no usb3.0....but other than that it looks good. I was actually looking to spend around 400 for an i5 but then i saw this for 200 more

I was about to settle for an i5 too. But this is my target since yesterday. Good thing I never gave up. I can always use my extra monitor for higher resolution if I want and I don't have any use for 3.0 USB now anyways. I have it on my desktop but all of my external hd are 2.0 so its fine.

But then again. If your looking for a good i7 laptop deal. This is the best one for the price ( Unless you got lucky like those who get a better laptop in some MS Store because of wrong information. )

For an i5, I think you can find a better deal than that with a dedicated video card for around that price.
