I am in the market for a new laptop (15.6" size) and was wondering if its worth getting something with a BD drive and 1920 x 1080 resolution? I have no intention of ever gaming on it (I use my PS3 for games) and will very rarely watch movies on it. I will watch you tube and maybe put some movies on it when traveling, but I also think im getting an ipad for Christmas. I think I have my mind made up, but want to hear what everyone else has to say if its worth spending the money for the BD and 1080?

I am sure nobody will care, but I broke down and bought an Asus today. I think it has decent specs:
750 gb drive (7200 rpm)
8 GB RAM
Nvidia card with 2gb
Just no 1080 resolution or BD drive
Got it for $700 shipped, might have been overkill for my use. Although I can easily fill up the hard drive, do some minor audio editing, and usually have way too many excel spreadsheets running macros open.
