I've had Droid stuff including a tablet. Do yourself a favor if apps is what you're looking for then go Apple...they simply have more and they work better and support doesn't just get dropped.

iPhone has been my favorite. I can say this after owning three different Android phones.
My Androids would all freeze on me every other day, if not daily. During simple tasks like making phone calls, taking a picture, sending a text. Not that those are important... Once I switched to an iPhone... my life was better. I have had my iPhone 4 for over a year, and it's the first phone I haven't had a desire to get rid of. It never freezes on me, ever. I rarely have to reboot it (android was every few days or more just to keep it working), and the battery life is 10x better. Not that any smart phone has really good battery life, but I couldn't make it to lunchtime without plugging the androids in for a charge, the iPhone gets me till I'm ready to leave work. I never was an apple fan, but plain and simple, it works. I would not advise anything else. Last piece of advice. Do NOT listen to the people in the stores. They will tell you everything great about Android and bash the crap out of the iPhone. This is mostly because they get a larger commission on the iPhone. Good Luck!! |

It depends on the user, Iphone are geared more to every day users and Androids are geared to people who want to customize it and make it how they want. IPhone work because they are simple and easy to operate, excellent for people new to technology. I personally like things to be customizable to and fit my needs, which android does. With Iphone I feel too limited to do only what Apple wants me to do and nothing further. Neither is a bad device, it just depends what kind of user you are.

What seems like a simple answer is really a complex situation. Both platforms are nearly indistinguishable from one another in average, day-to-day use. Sure, there may be some features like Siri or Google’s navigation that could sway a user one way or another, but for most users, their actual experience won’t differ much. |
