 Anyone here ever seen Trans Siberian Orchestra?  Anyone here actually been to a live show? Quite a few crappy reviews online. |

I love the album they did with Metallica but I've never seen them in person.

Oh my word yes.
I saw (read that: was dragged to see) them last year with my sister and her husband. They are HUGE fans. DH & I spent the entire show trying to reign in our snarky comments and laughter. It was horrific. If they were trying to be funny like Spinal Tap, it would have been great. But these people are SERIOUS and think they are rock gods. The amount of hair whipping about on stage was astounding. Skip it. Promise her anything, but don't do it!

Though I love Spinal Tap  Maybe I could just pretend I'm listening to Big Bottom, or Bitch School, etc.

My sister went to see their Christmas concert a couple years back and still raves about it.

Never seen it but have only heard good things about it. I believe only half of the show is Christmas music.

 I just realized it was the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra that played with Metallica. TSO might be crap.
