Just replace the particle board shelf with plywood and your good to go. Also combine with Ace's $10 off $50 coupon for today only to make this deal even sweeter!

They are adjustable, but it is limited because you absolutely must have a shelf right in the middle because it holds the top and bottom pieces together. Of course, you are generally going to put one on the top and one on the bottom, so you can really only adjust the other 2 shelves.

This is a great deal for some good shelves. I have some and while the particleboard does sag a bit after a while, it still holds what I need it to hold without breaking, so it is not bad enough that I have replaced it. If you want to hold something really heavy right in the middle of the shelf it might be a problem, but if the weight is pretty well distributed it works.

I had a row of 1 gallon paint cans on one of the shelves. Yup, after a while it sagged, but still held up just fine.

Since I'm picky, I just made an afternoon trip to Lowes and got some OSB flooring, ripped it to fit and now I have SUPER strong shelving units that just laugh when I chunk my power tools and bowling balls onto them.

The 48"x24"x1/2" particle boards alone are worth over $40.
Any coupons to sweeten the deal?

These seemed a bit wobbly to me when the shelves were loaded with heavy stuff (paint cans, power tools, auto parts, etc). The thickness of metal for the vertical posts was rather slim and made the unit flimsy, seemed like it needed an x brace added to the back to stiffen them up. Just my two cents... Everyone on here seems to have had a decent experience.
