Yes, it's the cookbook with the chocolate cake in the front. The coupon itself was an insert, not actually part of the cookbook. It looks like the usual liquor flyer they hand out at the door every now and again.

I just picked up a CostCo Cookbook on my weekly visit and inside there was a coupon booklet for assorted wines and liquors.
While there were several items listed, the one that jumped out at me was a coupon for Johnnie Walker Blue Label Scotch for $27 off. The regular price is $179.99 plus tax.

Other coupons were:
Johnnie Walker Gold Label 750 ml - $11 off
Glenlivet 18 year old Single Malt Scotch 750 ml - $15 off

Peter Lehman Shiraz Barossa Valley, Australia 750 ml- $2.50 off
Cointreau Liqueur 750 ml - $5 off

If you have any interest in these, I recommend stopping by CostCo this week before the cookbooks run out. They were free at the front door, one per family as the ID checker was watching.

Flyer is attached.

Good Luck!

I'm a Black Label man myself... glad I've never acquired an expensive scotch taste, but I always appreciate some Blue!

I will try to scan the coupon page at work tomorrow to post.

Always thought JW tasted like wood. Maker's Mark or JD FTW!

Any idea how much the Lagavulin 16 was going for on the shelf above?

I'd take Lagavulin over JWB all day long. K&L sells it for $65, that's the cheapest I ever see it. K&L has the lowest every day prices for most spirits.

Agreed, A MUCH more important question to any Scotch drinker that is more inclined toward taste than marketing. But I do appreciate all those that support the Diageo stock price by donating their hard earned dollars to the purchase of a bottle of blue. The profit is SOOooo huge, considering what is IN the bottle. Of course, Diageo gets your money either way.

Twice the scotch whisky quality for half the price of blue. And I'd bet that there is a little Lag in every bottle of blue, just to make it worth drinking at all.

IMHO, of course.

I think it was $62 after instant rebate at a norcal costco. +/- $2. Sorry. Can't remember the exact price.
