Motorola Triumph = $149.99
LG Optimus Slider = $99
LG Optimus V = $64

These just come normal if you add it to yourbasket today (cyber Monday) [virginmobileusa.com]

If you want to add working promo codes, I recommend following the steps recommended by the blog that broke the news [motorolatriumph.info] on this sale before it was even up.

There are two promo codes listed there that you can use - they keep changing so best to just go to the site.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

For those who got in and want to check your order status :https://www1.virginmobileusa.com/...rStatus.do

For Questions on Rooting:

Optimus Slider - Get the drivers for the Optimus V from LGs website and follow this guide

http://androidnerds.net/2011/10/0...now-ready/

Motorola Triumph - http://forum.sdx-developers.com/index.php?board=267.0
http://androidforums.com/triumph-all-things-root/
LG Optimus V - http://motorolatriumph.info/rooting/

This is a CDMA phone. This will only work on Virgin out of the box. Will also work one any CDMA carrier which allows you to port an ESN number such as MetroPCS, Cricket, Boost, etc. There is no way to get this to work on GSM networks.

Rooting allows you to change system only files which are usually locked.
Rooting is not necessary but can let you change the OS to a custom rom which is speedier/customized and much more.

USB Drivers for Optimus V (32/64bit): http://www.lg-phones.org/wp-content/uploads/LG-Optimus-V.zip

Gingerbreak 1.2 APK (Will 1 click root both phones <-- There are more than two phones - which ones?): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765

Wifi Hotspot is available for bothphones

Current Triumph Roms:
CM7
1. 11/19 - vBeta.08 http://www.mediafire.com/?bhmitbx7weqf8g2 - Wifi Tethering / FINAL
2. 11/06 - vBeta.07 http://www.mediafire.com/?eqdfo7ktmtuq281 - Haptic soft keys / light sensor

NOTE: On this release and forward the "Gapps" (Google Apps) must be separately downloaded and flashed after you load the ROM (before booting the first time is recommended)
3. http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-...signed.zip - Base Google Apps

Current Optimus Roms:
1. BACKside ROM, a port of CyanogenMod7 http://forums.androidcentral.com/optimus-v-rooting-roms-hacks/104687-rom-kernel-inferior-human-organs-unofficial-cm7-1-a.html

2. BobZ ROM, a better port of CM7 for Optimus V only Smilie
https://sites.google.com/site/bobzhomeroms/vm670

MAKE SURE YOU FLASH A ROM DATED SEPTEBER 1 OR LATER!!! OTHERWISE YOU MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE!
The new Optimus V's are shipping with updated display drivers, so if you flash an older ROM, your screen may go blank after seeing the LG logo. Very important!

<<< Not true. These phones are Un-Brickable. You may get a black screen, but you can work your way out of it...

THESE PHONES WILL NOT WORK ON ANY GSM CARRIER. They will work on other CDMA carriers which allow you to import ESN numbers. This is most ofthe smaller CDMA carriers in the US. VERIZON AND SPRINT WILL NOT LET YOU IMPORT ESN NUMBERS

Hmm, has anyone upgraded from the Optimus V to the Triumph? I couldn't justify spending $300 to do it, but 150... maybe!

gosh, I do not know. I do know that many stores have "will not match" price exclusions for Black Friday and Cyber Monday - I would not count on it, but there is no harm in asking.

I'm guessing this will only last 24hrs through Monday--Cyber Monday and all of that.

I've had the Triumph for a few months....I love the phone but it's kind of glitchy.
