nope. i have x6 1055t on an am3 mobo so i think its a little too soon for me to upgrade. plus i would need to buy am3+ mobo. maybe when steamroller or excavator come out, or when amd makes a new socket (am4 possibly) then ill upgrade

Curious how the new AMD chips fold. They aren't amazing at single threaded applications, but i'd assume they'd come pretty close to Sandy Bridge-E chips in this application.

EVGA is pretty hot. Any ideas from the SD mods for folding contests? That would be cool to get more people on board!

It all depends, they go up and down all the time, depending on what all I need boxes to do, but it's done between 2 boxes with 2xE5620 each, one good old q6600, one X3660 and couple E5335s.
When everything is on it's over 100k+/day, but that rarely happens.

Curious, just how much is that electric bill with folding and without? Meaning what's the difference?

The wiki definitely needs an update. I had the old client running and I finally noticed it hadn't downloaded a new work unit in a few days, and I go into find the new v7 client. Not sure how I feel about it so far. SMP started immediately, GPU was "waiting for idle" I need to see what it does to the heat in my machine, cooling has never worked well for me..
